I found that the second method was easier, but the first method gave me better results. Thank you so much for this tutorial, I never would have figured this out on my own!

Having read this I believed it was very informative. I appreciate you taking the time and energy to put this information together. I once again find myself personally spending way too much time both reading and commenting. But so what, it was still worth it!

hi malc here ,
just to ask ? i have a d3000 i have tried hdr stuff ,followed youre guide and what i seem to be getting is a "ok" or a meh shot ,
i'm finding them very grainy or noisy why is this????
is it becouse i'm using the standard 18-55 stock lens that came with the camera or am i missing out on summit ? as all of the hdr shots i seem to see have perfect focus, depth of field smooth and yet super sharp

For all those having the issue of "not seeing the video" here is the solution:

1) Go to your Library.
2) Right-click in the empty area and choose New Video.
3) For your Options, I guess you can call the symbol anything, but you want to set the type to Video (ActionScript-controlled) then click OK.
4) Move that Library Object to your stage and give it the appropriate Instance name.

This will solve the issue of not being able to "see" the video.

Thank you kindly.

I changed where it said "mns.play("flv here");" to "myVideo.play("flv here"); and it seemed to fix the issue of hearing audio but seeing no video.

The changed occurred at approximately line 105 (the second place you put the flv in).

Admin, can you verify that I did this correctly?

I hope this is useful!
